Understand PriceBrain recommendations and when they appear
PriceBrain helps you consider a customer-price choice using relevant quote decisions and outcomes. It is separate from the cost-and-labor estimate that creates your protected price.
Access and evidence
PriceBrain belongs to Pro and Growth. Public paid purchasing has not opened, and recommendations are not broadly enabled for customers. This guide explains how to use the feature when your account has supported access and it is enabled.
A paid plan does not guarantee a recommendation. Relevant, comparable evidence must support the opportunity. New accounts and unfamiliar types of work may stay in a learning state.
Review an available opportunity
- Confirm the quote inputs and review the protected price first.
- If PriceBrain presents an opportunity, read the explanation and compare it with the protected price.
- Keep the protected price if you prefer it. An upward Try is optional and requires your explicit selection.
- Review the final customer price, including any manual changes or discounts, before sharing.
- Record the actual customer decision and its reason when known. Do not mark an undecided quote accepted to supply learning evidence.
What to expect
The protected price remains the default. PriceBrain does not automatically raise your price, expose downward guidance, or automatically change recurring per-visit pricing. The available Try is an evidence-qualified upward option, not a statement of the maximum a customer will pay.
Comparability matters: service, context, and extras can make two jobs different. Imported historical work and Jobber records do not substitute for the PriceFlow quote-and-outcome evidence required for this recommendation.
Illustration, not a recommendation or customer result: a protected price of $285 and an optional $305 Try are two choices to review. Selecting $305 does not mean the customer accepted it. A later discount can change the price they actually receive.
Common questions
Why is there no Try? Access, feature availability, evidence quantity, relevance, or contradictory outcomes may prevent one. Continuing with the protected price is a normal outcome.
What do Performance counts mean? Opportunities shown are presented choices; opportunities tried are explicit selections. Booked above protected baseline describes qualifying accepted quotes at a final published price above that baseline. It is not collected cash, accounting profit, or proof PriceBrain caused extra revenue.
Does Try guarantee acceptance or profit? No. Your customer decides, and actual costs may differ from modeled costs. You remain responsible for price and scope.
