Understand the Free introductory allowance and monthly limit

Free is a permanent quoting product. Its allowance concerns making new quotes customer-ready, not the number of calculations or access to your records.

The policy below is approved for launch. Use the allowance status shown in your account; contact support if it is unclear which policy currently applies.

Two separate stages

Introductory outcomes: the introduction covers the first 20 eligible quotes that receive their first saved accepted, declined, or expired outcome. This lifetime count continues across Free, Pro, and Growth. It is not “20 calculations,” “20 saved drafts,” or a monthly allowance.

After the introduction: Free allows five new first activations per UTC calendar month, with no rollover. Activation means a quote becomes customer-ready for the first time: its first public-link creation or its first saved manual outcome when it has never been activated before. Only first activations performed on Free after the introduction use monthly slots.

Check what your action means

  1. Calculate, edit, and save drafts as needed. These actions do not use monthly slots.
  2. Before making a new quote customer-ready, check the account's allowance information.
  3. Share a first customer link or record a first manual decision. After the introduction, this uses one slot if the quote has never been activated and you are on Free.
  4. Continue working with already-activated quotes. Resending, replacing a link, reopening, correcting a decision, recording actuals, and customer responses do not count again.
  5. If all monthly slots are used, continue preparing drafts and maintaining records. New first activations become available in the next UTC month, or with confirmed paid access when purchasing is available.

What to expect

The twentieth introductory outcome is saved before the introduction ends. That activation does not receive a retroactive monthly charge. Quotes activated during the introduction or on a paid plan stay activated after a downgrade.

Pro and Growth bypass the Free monthly admission limit. Paid-era eligible outcomes still advance the lifetime introductory count. Temporary beta feature access does not itself change your commercial plan or allowance.

Common questions

What stays available at the limit? Calculations, editing, drafts, authenticated saving, history, existing records and customer responses, corrections, and actuals.

What about older quotes? Quotes first registered with PriceFlow before allowance enablement are excluded from the lifetime introductory count. A draft existing only on your device may not qualify; when it was first saved to your synced account matters.

Do imports or deletions change usage? Trusted imported actuals are not new quote activations. Deleting a counted quote does not refund usage. Relabeling a quote does not change its recorded origin.

When to contact support

Contact support if an already-activated quote is blocked, a correction appears to count twice, or the allowance status seems wrong.
